A woman has been taken to hospital with critical injuries following a house fire in Melton South this morning.
Emergency services were called to the fire on Flinders Road just after 6am.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 40s and the sole occupant, was found injured out the front of the home.
She was airlifted to hospital.
Investigations are ongoing into the cause of the fire.
Local police and detectives are on scene and the Arson and Explosives Squad have been notified.
