Police have arrested a man after drugs were discovered in a vehicle during a routine intercept in Croydon last night (19 August), Victoria Police say.
Officers came across the vehicle within a hotel car park on Dorset Road about 10.30pm.
A search of the car uncovered alleged quantities of drugs, believed to be ice and GHB, along with drug paraphernalia, including an ice pipe.
Police allegedly also located a knife within the vehicle.
The driver and sole occupant, a 27-year-old man from Olinda, was arrested at the scene.
He has been charged with possess methyl amphetamine, possess GHB and possess prohibited weapon, and was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on 29 January 2019.
