During the early hours of 7 January 2017 police attended The Beach Hut Café at 2 Beach Road, Ulverstone in relation to a report of a burglary that had occurred that morning. The premises is owned by the Central Coast Council and leased to the café proprietors, Tasmania Police say.
Police report that they have interviewed and will be dealing with a youth under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act in relation to damage at the Beach Hut Café and other offences committed in the Ulverstone area.
