Damaged Section Of River Stage Removed

MidCoast Council
Parts of the River Stage on the banks of the Manning River have been removed after it was damaged during the May floods.
Fortunately, part of the structure was salvageable and still remains in place providing opportunity for the community to still be able to use.
MidCoast Council worked in conjunction with Taree Rotary, who were the drivers of the original construction of the asset.
The funding provided to date only allows Council to clean-up and make safe flood impacted non-essential infrastructure.
Council will continue to lobby other levels of government for funding for repairs and/or replacement of flood damaged assets.
