Dangerous driving and evade police charges in Toowoomba, QLD

A Cambooya man has been charged with multiple offences following police investigations into an incident that occurred on Margaret Street, Toowoomba yesterday, Queensland Police say.

It will be alleged, at about 2.25pm police identified a vehicle of interest with false registration plates. Police approached the vehicle however the driver allegedly fled at high speed, damaging multiple vehicles.

Investigations by Toowoomba Detectives resulted in the location of a 26-year-old man who has been charged with multiple offences including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, evading police, wilful damage, breaching bail and drug related offences.

The man is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 31.
