Mackay detectives have charged a man with 19 drug offences following a search warrant investigation yesterday, 16 July.
Around 8.50am, police attended a Jason Street property in Andergrove and executed an investigative warrant in relation to alleged possession of dangerous drugs.
Quantities of dangerous drugs were seized, including cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, psilocybin, n-dimethyltryptamine, and lysergide.
Further quantities of pharmaceuticals and prescription-only medicines were also located and seized.
A 28-year-old Mackay man was charged with six counts of possessing dangerous drugs, nine counts of offence to buy or possess S4 or S8 medicines or hazardous poisons, and one count each of contravening order about information necessary to access information stored electronically, possession of property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence, possess utensils, and possessing/acquiring restricted items.
He is due to appear before Mackay Magistrates Court today, 17 July.
Investigations are ongoing.
