Dangerous operation, Meadowbrook

A man has been charged and another two men arrested after a stolen car was allegedly driven dangerously before crashing into a SUV in Logan overnight.

Shortly after 8pm, Polair observed a black Audi A4 in the carpark of a University Drive fast food restaurant in Meadowbrook.

Polair continued to monitor the vehicle as it travelled through an industrial estate before turning into Webb Road then onto Monash Road.

The vehicle was then tracked along Park Ridge Road where it was allegedly driving dangerously.

Shortly after 8.30pm, a tyre deflation device was successfully deployed on Chambers Flat Road in an attempt to stop the car.

The vehicle continued driving in a dangerous manner where it is alleged to have travelled on the wrong side of Muchow Road before crashing at speed into a Holden Captiva.

A man, woman and child travelling in the Captiva were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Queensland Children's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Audi, a 31-year-old man has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle, receiving tainted property, possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of a controlled drug, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime, receiving tainted property and possess utensils.

He is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Two 32-year-old men, who were occupants of the Audi, are speaking to police after being discharged from hospital this morning.

A quantity of drugs and a firearm were located in the stolen vehicle.

The Audi was stolen from a Redbank Plains address last week.

Investigations are continuing.
