Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Charge in Bungalow, QLD

A man has been charged following a traffic incident that occurred in Bungalow earlier this morning, Queensland Police say.

Officers were conducting patrols of Hartley Street when they sighted a man acting suspiciously around a number of vehicles.

When police approached, it will be alleged that the man entered a black Holden Calais sedan which was driven by a second man.

A short time later, police located and arrested a 20-year-old Innisfail Estate man.

He was charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He is due to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court on May 24.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Police are also appealing for anyone that has a dash cam and was travelling in the area to contact them.
