It will be alleged that shortly after 10pm last night a vehicle stolen from Crestmead earlier in the day was sighted by police travelling along Bardon Road, Logan Central.

Numerous crews responded and at 10.30pm a tyre deflation device was successfully deployed by officers on Kingston Road, Kingston.

The vehicle continued to drive for a further kilometre until it lost control and mounted a curb on Jellicoe Street, Loganlea.

Police arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl without incident.

Both have been charged with numerous driving and drug offences and will appear before the Beenleigh Children's Court at a later date.
