Dangerous operation of vehicle at Logan

Police have charged a 23-year-old Yarrabilba man following alleged dangerous driving offences in Logan Reserve, Crestmead and Beenleigh last night (February 18).

Police will allege around 10pm the man performed dangerous manoeuvres in an unregistered Ford Falcon close to bystanders before evading police and continuing to drive dangerously until a tyre deflation device was used to stop the vehicle.

The vehicle was impounded and the man was charged with two counts of dangerous driving, drive unregistered vehicle, drive uninsured vehicle and evade police. He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on March 3.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the vehicle driving dangerously or anyone with relevant dash cam footage.
