Darebin Creek Parklands playground and park upgrade

Darebin Creek Parklands in Epping is set for an exciting upgrade, with construction starting next week on the new-look park and playground.

The redevelopment will include installing new play equipment and a fitness station, a picnic shelter with seats and tables, a handy bicycle repair station, as well as a drinking fountain and updated landscaping.

As part of this upgrade, both sets of play equipment in the north and south of Darebin Creek Parklands will be removed. The shade sail will remain.

Construction is expected to be complete by late-October 2021.

The Darebin Creek Parklands upgrade is part of Council's program to revitalise existing local parks and playgrounds.

Parks and playgrounds are currently closed due to Melbourne's lockdown restrictions. To plan your future springtime park adventure at a park near you, visit this webpage.
