Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Darren Butler, Victoria Police say.
The 33-year-old is wanted for assault-related offences.
Butler is described as about 190cm tall with a medium build, short brown spiky hair and blue eyes.
He also has distinctive tattoos on both hands and forearms.
Butler is known to frequent Lilydale, Yarra Glen and St Kilda areas.
Police have released an image of Butler in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sights Butler is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
