Dashcam Appeal Following Road Rage Near Queanbeyan

Police are appealing for dashcam footage following an alleged road rage incident in the Monaro region last weekend.

About 4.30pm on Sunday 19 April 2026, police responded to the intersection of Edwin Land Parkway and Stringybark Drive, Jerrabomberra, about 6km south-east of Queanbeyan, following reports of a road rage incident.

Officers attached to Monaro Police District were told a man was armed with a plank of wood and threatening three males inside a blue Volkswagen Golf.

Officers responded to the scene, however no one was there.

A short time later, officers attended a home in Jerrabomberra and spoke to a 42-year-old man.

As inquiries are continuing, Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam or mobile phone footage around the time of the incident, is urged to come forward and contact Queanbeyan Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
