Dashcam appeal in continued search for Neil

Police are appealing for dashcam footage as the search continues for missing Springvale man Neil.

The 71-year-old was last seen walking on Springvale Road, near Springvale Library, about 11am on Friday, 2 September.

Police are hoping to track down any dashcam footage from vehicles that were travelling in the vicinity of Springvale and Heatherton Roads around 11am on Friday, 2 September.

Police and family have strong concerns for Neil's welfare due to the cold weather and the length of time he has been missing.

Extensive searches have been conducted of the surrounding area by local police and the SES however there have been no reported sightings.

Nearby residents are urged to check any sheds or outhouses on their properties in case Neil has taken shelter inside.

Neil was last seen wearing a grey hoodie with white sleeves and 'Los Angeles 1975' on the front. He was also wearing dark jeans and brown shoes.

Anyone who sights Neil is urged to call Triple Zero (000) or with information about his whereabouts is urged to call Springvale Police Station on 03 8558 8600.
