Day six of Gold Coast Schoolies 2018

It was a busy night in Surfer Paradise last night with a large crowd descending on the entertainment precinct for day six of schoolies on the Gold Coast, Queensland Police say.

Despite the large crowd there were only eight schoolies charged with twelve offences overnight, mainly relating to drug and public nuisance offences. One schoolie was given a liquor infringement notice for drinking in a public place. Of the schoolies arrested; five were male and three were female.

Also overnight, 13 people were arrested 14 charges which were not schoolies related and were mainly drug offences. There were also no non-schoolies who were given liquor infringement notices.
