Police have arrested Dean Guest tonight following a non-fatal shooting in Castlemaine last week, Victoria Police say.
Guest was arrested by WA Police in Ravensthorpe about 8pm tonight (WA time) and is likely to face court there tomorrow.
Victoria Police detectives are also expected to travel to WA.
His arrest follows an incident that occurred at a property on McGregor Street in Castlemaine about 2.30pm on Friday 26 May.
A man presented at a hospital in Castlemaine about 3pm with a gunshot wound where he remains with non-life threatening injuries.
A clandestine laboratory was also located at the Castlemaine property.
