In a humiliating backdown, Dean Winter has finally declared his position on the stadium. (Spoiler alert: it's the same as the Liberals).
Less than 24 hours after declaring he would consider stadium 2.0, Mr Winter has shut that down.
Less than a day after saying he was consulting on the appropriate approvals' pathway, he's declared he'll back the enabling legislation.
The stadium, which has the backing of Federal Labor, clearly needs more mature consideration than that given by Mr Winter so far.
