Death investigation in Bethania, QLD

Detectives are investigating the death of a 90-year-old man after a physical altercation at a Bethania residence on Sunday January 20.

It will be alleged around 2.15pm on Sunday the man became involved in a domestic incident with a 70-year-old man at an address on Station Road.

A short time later the man became unconscious and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he was pronounced deceased on Monday January 21.

The 70-year-old man continues to assist investigators.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

The two men were known to each other.

Investigations are continuing and there is no further information available.
