Cardinia Shire Council is deeply saddened by the tragic events in Bondi.
On behalf of my fellow Councillors and Council staff, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to everyone who has been impacted by this heartbreaking incident, particularly within the Jewish community.
We recognise that this an incredibly difficult time for many and our thoughts are with those directly impacted, especially those with loved ones in the affected area.
We acknowledge the tremendous response of emergency services, and we thank them for their continued efforts under difficult circumstances.
Witnessing tragic events such as these can fill us with sense of profound shock, sorrow and disbelief. It's important to remember that we are not alone in feeling this way. Please look after yourselves and one another and seek support if needed.
