Design a logo for Horsham's new youth centre

Horsham's youth are being challenged to design a new logo for the city's refurbished youth centre.

The former Nexus building in Pynsent Street has undergone renovations over the last few months and will be rebranded as The Station when it's reopened as a multipurpose youth and community space later this year.

Youth Services Planning and Engagement Officer Annie Mintern said The Station needed a new logo before it opened.

"We are reaching out to young people with an interest in art and design to come up with our new logo. We want the design to be representative of young people," Ms Mintern said.

"The winning logo will be painted on the front of the building with an acknowledgement to the winning designer.

"The winner will also receive a $100 voucher for Shelton and Lane Stationary," she said.

Horsham Youth Council will judge the entries.
