Detectives investigate after molotov cocktails thrown at Eaglehawk residence

Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after two bottles containing an accelerant were thrown towards an Eaglehawk residence yesterday.

It is believed the bottles were thrown through the front window of a property on Red Hill Court about 3.30am on 8 October.

Three occupants, who were sleeping at the time, awoke to the noise before the front area engulfed in flames.

The occupants evacuated without injury and fire authorities extinguished the flames.

Detectives believe at least two people attended the address in a vehicle that morning and ask anyone who witnessed suspicious activity to come forward.
