Detectives investigate Williamstown erratic driving

Hobsons Bay Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for dash cam footage following an erratic driving incident in Williamstown on Wednesday (7 November), Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told a silver Ford ute was allegedly driving erratically along Ferguson Street on the wrong side of the road about 6am.

It continued along the wrong side of the road from Victoria Street, near the railway crossing, towards Nelson Place.

The car was then involved in an alleged ramming at Williamstown Police Station just after 6am that morning.

A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene and was taken to hospital for assessment.

Anyone with information, who witnessed the car driving erratically or who may have dash cam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
