The civil suit by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) against Volkswagen has now been resolved in-principle. The terms of settlement must receive judicial confirmation at a hearing to be held in the near future. The details are confidential until this hearing. Volkswagen expects the proceedings to be concluded by the end of 2019.
