Statement from Cameron Cahill, Director, Innovation and Organisational Improvement

The City of Ballarat will retain resources in its People and Performance team which will have a strong focus on staff diversity and inclusion.

Our commitment to diversity and inclusion remain and was recently acknowledged with the City of Ballarat's Gender Equity Strategy and Action Plan put in the national spotlight as a finalist in the Australian Human Resources Institute Awards.

The City has recently commenced a thorough service review of disability services and inclusion. An external contractor has been appointed to conduct this review, to ensure Council's vision to create a workplace that is accessible to everyone.

The City of Ballarat respects the privacy of current and former employees and does not comment on individual circumstances of employment.
