Divestment of Aged Care Facilities moves to next phase

Following completion of the expression of interest (EOI) phase for the divestment of our residential aged care facilities, the successful EOI applicant invited to proceed to submit a detailed proposal is Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care (SCCAC).

SCCAC has confirmed that they have accepted the invitation to submit a detailed proposal. Their proposal is due on 3 September 2021.

Through the EOI process, SCCAC met all criteria including the intention to maintain and improve the quality of services, employment continuation with the new service provider, and the proposed expansion of residential aged care services into Jindabyne.

Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care is a community-based group whose values align closely with those of Snowy Monaro Regional Council and our community. They have a strong track record of delivering quality residential aged care services in the SE NSW region.

Council looks forward to reviewing the proposal once submitted and will continue to update the community as this progresses.
