If you've got a project or event that will support the Kempsey Shire in getting back on their feet following a tough few months, you could be eligible for up to $2,000 in funding.

We've extended the deadline to apply for the Mayoral Community Fund - Quick Grants and Community Connection Grants until Wednesday 13 April.

These two grant programs were introduced specifically to help local community organisations bounce back after several years of trying times.

Mayoral Community Fund – Quick Grants

These grants are available for local community groups that want to establish, strengthen or implement projects that support our local residents, community infrastructure or our environment. Up to $2,000 is available per applicant. The program pool has approximately $20,000 available.

Community Connection Grants

These grants are available to local community groups to plan and deliver a local event that brings the community together to re-establish connections that may have been lost after the challenges of recent years, including COVID restrictions. Community events could include, for example, barbecues, community picnics or morning teas.
