Alfresco dining and goods outside on the footpath add colour and life to our shopping precincts and support our traders by encouraging our community to connect, shop and dine outside. We are consulting on two important policies at the moment and want your feedback.
Outdoor dining spacelets are set up in car spaces on the road outside cafes and restaurants. Is the loss of car parking an issue for you? Do you like the ambience of outdoor dining? Council would like to know what you think of the impact of spacelets and whether they should be introduced permanently.

Footpath Trading includes seats, tables, goods, umbrellas and signs that are set up on the footpath. Council manages a permit system to ensure all items placed on the footpath are safe for those that use them and move around them.
