Nationally acclaimed Dobell Drawing Prize comes to Manning Regional Art Gallery

Showcasing a dynamic collection of works by leading and emerging Australian artists, the 24th Dobell Drawing Prize offers a rare opportunity for local residents and visitors to enjoy a nationally significant cultural experience right here on the MidCoast.

Manager Libraries, Community and Cultural Services Mr Alex Mills said the exhibition reflects MidCoast Council's ongoing commitment to delivering enriching arts and cultural opportunities for the region.

"This is a significant exhibition on the national arts calendar, and we're proud to be able to present it here at Manning Regional Art Gallery," Mr Mills said.

"It gives our community the opportunity to experience contemporary Australian art of the highest calibre, without needing to travel to a metropolitan centre."

"The exhibition showcases a wide range of artistic approaches and materials, which makes it accessible and engaging for visitors of all ages and levels of familiarity with art."
