Dog Breeder Charged After Assault In Castle Hill

Raptor Squad officers have charged a member of a notorious dog breeding group following an assault in Castle Hill earlier this year.

Officers were told on Saturday 3 May 2025, a dog breeder and his associates were attempting to gain access to an American Bull Terrier dog showing event in Castle Hill from which they had been banned.

The breeder allegedly pushed an employee to access the showing ring, where he displayed a dog breeding banner on the floor.

The breeder then entered into a physical altercation with a female staff member who attempted to remove the banner.

Shortly after, the breeder and his associates left the event.

About 12pm yesterday (Thursday 24 July 2025), officers attached to State Crime Command's Raptor Squad arrested a 33-year-old in Greenfield Park.

He was taken to Fairfield Police Station where he was charged with affray, common assault and enter inclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse.

The man was granted strict conditional bail to appear in Fairfield Local Court on Wednesday 20 August 2025.
