A man is being charged after a domestic assault in Berala overnight, NSW Police say.
Just after 11pm (Saturday 4 November 2017), police from Flemington Local Area Command were called to a unit on Crawford Street after a report of a domestic incident.
A 43-year-old woman was found at the location with a head wound and has been taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment in a stable condition.
A 43-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been taken to Auburn Police Station where he is assisting with inquires.
He is expected to be charged with breach AVO and reckless wounding and is expected to appear at Parramatta Bail Court this morning (Sunday 5 November 2017).
