A 37-year-old man has tonight been charged following an alleged domestic violence incident at Upper Coomera on March 15 and two subsequent emergency declarations under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) yesterday and today.
At 4.06pm today, police made an emergency declaration under the PSPA at Baloo Street, where they arrested a man soon after.
He has been charged with a string of Domestic Violence related offences including assault occasioning bodily harm, wilful damage, threatening violence and using a carriage to menace, harass or cause offence.
Additionally, he will face charges of possessing dangerous drugs and drug utensils.
He remains in police custody and will appear before the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow (March 18)
