The Australia Day Citizen of the Year Awards are a perfect opportunity to shine a light on individuals and groups who contribute to positive community outcomes.

Nominations are now open in the categories of Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year and Award for Active Citizenship.

Awards will be presented at Council's Australia Day event on Thursday, 26 January, 2023.

Nominations can be made online at citizenoftheyear.com.au/nominate/ by 18 November, or hard copy nomination forms are available from Council branch offices.
