This year, we've engaged two research providers - Klein Research and Metropolis Research - to carry out the survey. Researchers may contact you either by telephone or in person by knocking on your door, selected through random sample. Participation is voluntary and confidential, and we encourage you to share your thoughts.
Our researchers will identify themselves at the start of the call or when they visit your home. For in-person surveys, researchers will carry identification, which we encourage you to check. They will also carry a signed authority letter advising the survey is legitimate and not a scam.
A total of 1,300 Port Phillip residents will be surveyed, with each survey taking approximately 5 to 15 minutes to complete. Your personal details and individual responses are strictly confidential, and only the overall results will be shared with us.
The survey involves a conversation to enable us to gain a deeper understanding of the issues that matter most to City of Port Phillip residents. It captures community satisfaction with Council's overall performance, services, facilities, planning and development, traffic and parking, customer service and how we're planning for population growth, along with other key issues. The results will be made available on our website.
Together, both surveys will give us clearer insight into our customers' needs and help us improve our service delivery.
