Two people have died following a single vehicle rollover south of Tennant Creek this morning, Northern Territory Police say.
Motorists on the Stuart Highway should expect delays approximately 80km south of Tennant Creek while Major Crash investigators assess the scene.
Disruptions to traffic will continue for the next several hours and drivers are urged to drive with extreme caution and obey all directions currently in place.
The Northern Territory’s road toll now stands at 36. This time last year it was 22.
