Dream It, Dare It, Do It, Youth Festival 2026: Bayside

Bayside Council will kick off Youth week with an exciting, free Youth Festival at Barton Park on Thursday 16 April.

The Youth Festival, designed to celebrate young people, will have a strong focus on sport, creativity, wellbeing, and youth engagement with a diverse range of activities from high energy sports to chilled creative zones.

There will be sports workshops utilising Barton Park's state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated creative zones for art activities, plant workshops by Urban Seeds, make a health Bike n Blend smooth using pedal power, a rock-climbing wall, bike maintenance workshops and chill-out zones.

Enjoy interactive digital gaming experiences with a Video Game Bus activation and mobile gaming lounge with multiple screens, consoles, and a wide selection of multiplayer games suitable for a younger audience.

Get creative with a podcasting and filming activities with Digi Van.

A photo wall with fun props will let you capture the memories and take home a personalised keepsake that participants can take home and remember the event long after the day.

Council Youth Services will also be on hand to provide information on the programs, services and opportunities available for young people.

There is no need to register for the event. Just turn up on the day.
