Drink driver arrested at Largs Bay, SA

A P plate driver has been arrested for drink driving after his car collided with a fence at Largs Bay early this morning, according to SA Police.

About 1.45am on Saturday 30 December a Holden sedan collided with the fence and front verandah of a home on Fletcher Road. The occupants were home asleep at the time but thankfully were not injured.

The driver, sole occupant of the car, was also not injured.

A 21-year-old Exeter man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without due care and breaching the conditions of his provisional licence. His car was also impounded.

He was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 1 February. 18/D02172
