Fawkner Divisional Response Unit are investigating after shots were fired at a property in Roxburgh Park overnight.
It is understood offenders arrived outside a property on Ravenhill Boulevard in a vehicle about 2.10am.
Police were told several shots were fired at the house from the passenger side of the vehicle, before it fled the scene.
Six people were inside the property at the time of the incident. There were no physical injuries.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the incident.
