A man has been charged following a crash that left three pedestrians critically injured at Blacktown.
About 9am Friday (7 November 2025) emergency services responded to reports that three people had been struck following a crash involving two cars at the intersection of Bungaribee Road and Lock Street.
Police were told three people – aged 35, 22 and 21 - were standing outside a business on Lock Street when the two cars collided, causing one to mount the curb.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the pedestrians at the scene for multiple injuries before they were taken to Westmead Hospital with serious injuries.
Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command established a crime scene, examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
The drivers of a white Toyota Corolla and a maroon Honda CRV were taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.
Following inquiries, today (Wednesday 12 November 2025) officers from the Crash Investigation Unit arrested the driver of the Toyota Corolla at Bankstown Police Station.
The 22-year-old man was charged with three counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm – drive manner dangerous and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Blacktown Local Court on Tuesday 25 November 2025.
