A driver has received a massive fine and lost his licence for six months after being caught speeding on the Eyre Peninsula on Saturday evening.
Just before 5.30pm on Saturday 27 September, police detected a white SUV travelling at 179 km/h in a 110 km/h zone on the Lincoln Highway, Middleback Range.
The driver, a 21-year-old Mansfield Park man, was issued with an expiation notice totalling $2059 for excessive speed and a six-month instant loss of licence.
