Driver detected more than 150km/h at Menangle

A man has lost his licence for six months, for allegedly being detected travelling at more than 150km/h in Sydney's south west.

Traffic and Highway Patrol officers attached to Campbelltown Highway Patrol were patrolling Menangle Road, Menangle, when a Ford Falcon XR6T sedan was allegedly detected travelling 152km/h in a signposted 80km/h zone about 3.45pm yesterday (Friday 1 May 2020).

The vehicle was stopped, and the 47-year-old male driver produced a MR licence. He was issued a Penalty Infringement Notice for drive over 45KM/h which is a $2482 Fine and 6 demerit points.

His licence was suspended for six months.
