A man has died following a crash on the state's Mid North Coast yesterday.
About 9.10am (Tuesday 31 August 2021), emergency services were called to Gowings Hills Road, Sherwood, after reports of a crash.
Officers from Mid North Coast Police District attended and found a Holden Commodore had crashed into a tree.
The driver and sole occupant, an 18-year-old man, was found deceased.
A crime scene was established as inquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
