A woman has died following a crash on the state's South Coast yesterday.
About 12.30pm (Sunday 31 January 2021), a Toyota Prius was travelling east on the Kings Highway at Currowan, about 25km north west of Batemans Bay, when it left the road and landed 12m down an embankment.
A property owner discovered the crash and alerted emergency services.
The driver and sole occupant, a 68-year-old woman, was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital with serious injuries.
The woman died in hospital earlier today (Monday 1 February 2021).
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
