Driver Dies After Truck Crash Near Mudgee

A driver has died following a two-vehicle crash involving a truck in the state's west today.

About 1.20pm (Tuesday 28 October 2025), emergency services were called to Goolma Road, Two Mile Flat about 30km northwest of Mudgee, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police Area Command arrived to find a car and truck had collided.

The driver of the car – a man believed to be aged in his 60s – died at the scene.

The driver of the truck – a 59-year-old man – was assessed at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Mudgee Hospital for mandatory testing.

Police have established a crime scene, and officers attached to Crash Investigation Unit have commenced an investigation into the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
