Driver flees after crash in Blackett

Police have commenced an investigation after a car crashed at Blackett overnight and the driver fled.

About 3.20am (Sunday 17 February 2019), emergency services were called to the intersection of Bouldrewood Road and Devaney Street after reports of a crash.

It appears the vehicle which was travelling north on Bouldrewood Road has struck a parked Kia sedan, continued into a wall and stopped when it struck a fence.

Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command attended and located two men who had been passengers in the vehicle, being treated by Ambulance paramedics.

The 23 and 24-year-old men were conveyed to Westmead Hospital for assessment.

Officers have been told that the driver of the 2006 model, blue Mazda 3 fled from the crash scene, prior to the arrival of police.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
