A person has died after the ute they were driving caught fire after crashing in Sydney's north-west this morning.
Emergency services were called to Guntawong Road at Rouse Hill about 12.15am (Friday 30 January 2026), and found the unregistered ute well alight.
The body of the driver was found inside the vehicle after the fire was extinguished. They have not been identified.
Officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted in coming days to confirm identity.
