Drones stolen during aggravated burglary

Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following an aggravated burglary at a drone store in Maribyrnong on Monday morning, Victoria Police say.

Investigators believe a gold Nissan Navara ute was driven to the premises on White Street about 2.50am on Monday 2 January.

Once at the address the offenders forced open the front door and stole 20-30 remote control drones and accessories.

The owner of the store, who happened to be in a back room at the time, called police.

The offenders left the store and were last seen in the ute heading west on Rosamond Road a short time later.

Investigators have released CCTV and images of the car involved in the hope that members of the public may be able to provide more information.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
