Drug arrest – Labrador

A woman has been charged in relation to the discovery of methamphetamines and MDMA during a police intercept at Labrador yesterday afternoon.

Around 12.50pm officers from the Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrol intercepted a car on Government Road for a traffic-related matter.

A search of the vehicle and passengers was also conducted with a woman allegedly having concealed in the waistband of skirt, a tin box with clip seal bags of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $4500 and a quantity of MDMA.

A 33-year-old Nerang woman has been charged with possession of a dangerous drug (methamphetamine), possession of a dangerous drug (MDMA) and possession of things used in a drug offence.

She is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on July 11, 2018.
