Drug arrests for Fantasy and Methamphetamine – Gold Coast

Police from the Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrols (RAP) have allegedly located Methamphetamine and liquid Fantasy in two separate intercepts of motor vehicles on Saturday night, September 22, 2018.

Around 8pm police on patrol intercepted a suspicious vehicle at Jaiden Way at Coomera. During a search police allegedly located Methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $8,400 concealed in a man’s underpants. In the vehicle police also allegedly found a clear liquid suspected of being Fantasy with a street value of $3,000 and a single round of ammunition in a bag.

A man and a woman, both aged 32 from Coomera, were both given notices to appear for two counts of possession of a dangerous drug and one count each of possession of a utensil. The man was further charged with authority required to possess explosives (ammunition).

Both the man and woman will appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on October 11, 2018.

Police on patrol intercepted a second suspicious vehicle around 10.40pm the same night at Coachwood Drive at Molendinar.

A search of the vehicle allegedly located a glass bottle and a plastic plunger bottle suspected of containing liquid Fantasy with an estimated street value of $6000.

A 38-year-old man from Hollywell has been given a notice to appear for possession of a dangerous drug and possession of a utensil. He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court on October 11, 2018.
