Drug bust in Mornington

Southern Metro Division 4 Response Unit have charged two men and seized a large amount of cocaine and more than $65,000 in cash in Melbourne's south yesterday.

Officers were on foot patrol on Railway Grove and Ross Street in Mornington when they spoke to two men about 11.40am.

A search of their vehicle located a large amount of cocaine and cash.

Investigators then executed three search warrants at properties in Mornington, Seaford and Langwarrin.

A large amount of cash, cocaine, cannabis and magic mushrooms and a homemade drug press were also allegedly seized.

A 23-year-old Seaford man and a 23-year-old Langwarrin man have both been charged with traffick cocaine, possess proceeds of crime and other related offences.

They have been bailed to appear at the Frankston Magistrates' Court on 8 February 2022.
