A man will face court on drug charges following a vehicle stop in the state's Orana region this week.
Following inquiries, about 1am Wednesday 25 February 2026, officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District stopped a Mitsubishi utility on the Golden Highway east of Dubbo.
During a search of the male driver - aged 21 - and the vehicle, police allegedly located and seized 13.5 grams of cocaine.
Police will allege the man intended to sell the prohibited drugs for financial gain.
The man was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station, where he was charged with supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity, and possess prohibited drug.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 8 April 2026.
